Nusupbaev Ozhet Kazikeevich
Leather artist. Born on May 10, 1942, in the village of Almaly, Kordai District, Zhambyl Region, Kazakh SSR.
In 1970, he graduated from the decorative arts department of the Frunze Art School.
From 1971 to 1990, he worked at the district art workshop under the Department of Culture of Zhambyl Region.
Participant in republican and all-Union exhibitions.
His works are exhibition pieces. Using traditional techniques, he moves away from utilitarianism, giving objects forms that claim an independent spiritual existence, similar to works of fine arts. His works are in private collections in foreign countries.
