Chalanov Ishembek
Applied artist. Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic. Excellent worker in public education. Born on January 15, 1957, in the village of Kum-Dyube, Kochkor district, Naryn region. In 1981, he graduated from the Kyrgyz State Art College named after S.A. Chuykov, specializing in "artistic design of leather." From 1981 to 1984, he was a drawing and painting teacher at the People's Applied College No. 19 (now No. 92 named after S. Chokmorov), and from 1984 to 1985, he was a master of vocational training in artistic leather processing at the People's Applied College No. 92. Since 1985, he has been a teacher of special disciplines at the Kyrgyz State Art College named after S.A. Chuykov, and since 1991, he has been the head of the educational workshops.
Since 1990, he has been a member of the Union of Designers, and since 1992, a member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Participant in republican and international exhibitions. Awarded a Certificate of Honor from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. The artist's works are held in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev, the State Museum of the Peoples of the East, the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation (Moscow), as well as in private collections abroad.
