Nurmatov Yuldash Sherovich
Theater artist, Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born on November 15, 1953, in the village of Kochkor, Kochkor district, Naryn region. In 1976, he graduated from the Frunze Art College and in 1981 from the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography. From 1981 to 1985, he was an artist at the Osh Kyrgyz Dramatic Theater, and since 1985, he has been the chief artist of the Kyrgyz State Academic Dramatic Theater.
Since 1990, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic. Y. Nurmatov is a recognized master of scenography, having staged productions in leading theaters of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Participant in republican, regional, and international exhibitions. His works are held in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev.
