The film is set in the picturesque mountains of Kyrgyzstan, where a shepherd named Bakyt decides to save an injured foal named Monchok — a descendant of famous racehorses, who is threatened with death. For his daughter Karlygach, this foal becomes the embodiment of hope and dreams. Success in horse racing opens doors to fame for them, but it also provokes envy and greed from those around them. Bakyt finds himself faced with a difficult choice: to protect Monchok's freedom or to save his daughter's life, which requires urgent medical attention.
