The premiere of the film "Kurmanjan Datka" took place in Los Angeles (USA) on November 4.
"The premiere went excellently. The hall was full. Our compatriots came - 150-200 people, and 200-250 people from the film industry in Los Angeles, including representatives from the Academy Awards and members of the Golden Globe. There were also young actors and actresses from Hollywood," said the film's director, Sadik Sher-Niyaz, to the AKIpress agency.
He noted that Sharon Stone spoke very highly of the film.
Present at the opening were the film's executive producer Zhyldyz Zholdoshova, actress Elina Abay kyzy, and the ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the USA.
