The premiere of the new film by Kyrgyz filmmakers "Kurmanjan Datka" was successfully held in Moscow. The screening took place on October 10 at the "Akvamarin" cinema in the capital, initiated by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation with the support of the cultural center "Sanat-Ordo." This was reported today by News-Asia from the embassy's press service.
Among the honored guests at the Moscow film premiere were the film's General Producer, Kyrgyz parliamentarian Zhyldyzkan Joldoshova, director Sadik Sher-Niyaz, and the lead actress Elina Abay kyzy, who flew to the Russian capital specifically for this event.
Among the audience, which included representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora in Russia, were the former ambassador of the Russian Federation to Kyrgyzstan Valentin Vlasov with his wife, teachers of Sadik Sher-Niyaz, and other representatives of the Russian public.
- The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Russian Federation Bolot Junusov addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. The viewers gave a standing ovation to the creators of the film who came on stage. During the screening, there was complete silence in the hall, with moments when many viewers could not hide their tears. The film made a strong impression on all present. It is especially poignant for our compatriots who are far from their homeland. The film carries a powerful moral and patriotic charge, embodies the idea of national unity, and has received significant public resonance, - the press service of the Kyrgyz Embassy in the Russian Federation reported.
The screening took place with a full house. All 1,100 seats in the cinema were filled, and additional viewers were accommodated in the aisles and on free spots in the hall.
