The Department of Tourism participated in the 22nd International Exhibition MITT/Travel and Tourism in Moscow.

THE DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM UNDER THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE, INFORMATION AND TOURISM OF THE KR, TOGETHER WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE TOURISM INDUSTRY OF THE KR, PARTICIPATED IN THE 22ND INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION MITT/TRAVEL AND TOURISM IN MOSCOW, RUSSIA

The Department of Tourism organized the National Stand of the KR at this exhibition, and a presentation of the tourism potential of the KR for representatives of the tourism industry of the Russian Federation was held at the Embassy of the KR in the Russian Federation.

Representatives of the tourism business of the KR held a series of meetings with partners, negotiations on the creation and launch of a unified tourism website for the CIS countries and the Russian Federation, and negotiations regarding the participation of the KR in the 23rd international exhibition in Moscow.

The area of MITT 2015 was 54,628 m², and the exhibition occupied 8 pavilions and halls of the Expocenter.

Over 4 days, the MITT exhibition was visited by 32,162 unique visitors, of which 76% were representatives of the tourism business from 75 regions of Russia and 102 foreign countries.

During the exhibition, important business events took place, gathering over 1,500 leaders and top managers from travel agencies and networks, hotels, tour operators, insurance companies, and associations.

Additionally, from April 2 to 3, 2015, participation is planned in the International Tourism Exhibition "Summer 2015" in Yekaterinburg, Russia.
