Working meeting between representatives of the tourism community at the "Blue Issyk-Kul" sanatorium

On February 21 of this year, a Friday, an off-site working meeting took place in the conference hall of the "Blue Issyk-Kul" sanatorium between representatives of the tourism community under the patronage of the Department of Tourism of the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The agenda included issues such as participation in exhibitions and fairs in 2014, where Kyrgyzstan can present its tourism potential. They also discussed the project and further development of the tourism marketing program "VisitKyrgyzstan," and of course, the main issue of this year: the organization and conduct of the upcoming World Nomad Games, which will take place in September of this year in various regions of the Issyk-Kul region.

The meeting was successful and productive. The boarding houses of the Issyk-Kul region and tourism companies are extremely interested in promoting tourism in the Kyrgyz Republic, so many provided their suggestions for improving participation in exhibitions and fairs outside our republic.

Currently, work has begun, and the Department of Tourism is actively collaborating with the private sector representing the tourism industry.

In addition, the Department of Tourism expresses gratitude to the director of the "Blue Issyk-Kul" sanatorium, Lyra Batyrbekova, for providing the conference hall and congratulates her on winning the national competition of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic "Quality Award."
