The first international exhibition of photographic portraits in ethnic costumes "Heritage. EthnoART" reflects the main essence of the project, according to the organizers. More than 110 photographs from 10 countries are presented in a unified exhibition space, complemented by ethnographic costumes. Each of the presented images shows how rich the cultural heritage of each nation is and how beautiful the people of various nationalities are.

The author of the unique project "Open World" is Cholpon Tentieva, known in the field of domestic art as an art historian and the author and curator of the projects "Meetings in the Museum" ("Weekend in the Museum"), "Museum Without Borders," "Night at the Museum of Fine Arts," and "Interactive Museum." She is also the head of the marketing department of the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev. She managed to establish connections with representatives of various embassies and unite them in this unique event. The participating countries in the exhibition include the embassies of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, Ukraine, Japan, the Republic of India, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Tajikistan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Consulate of the Kingdom of Sweden, and Kyrgyzstan.

- More than 20 embassies operate in our republic, and I approached them with an interesting idea, outlined the concept, and proposed to hold the first exhibition of ethnographic photographic portraits. I admit that I expected only five different embassies to respond, but ten countries are participating in the project, - said Cholpon Tentieva.

Undoubtedly, all the photographs presented at the exhibition amazed with their colorfulness, but especially memorable to the guests were the works of the Ukrainian team of photographers and stylists "Third Roosters." After all, the beauty of Ukraine is primarily the beauty of its women. Dressed in ancient costumes and outfits from modern designers, people stand between the past and the present, as well as between traditions and relevance.

Maintaining the uniqueness of different peoples, establishing contacts for mutual understanding and cultural enrichment, contributes to the preservation of peace and harmony in the international community. Each nation has its own special national symbols, which are reflected in the costumes. All guests of the exhibition were able to see this thanks to the vibrant works of the photographers.

One day, a closed showing for the heads of diplomatic missions took place, and for the first time in the museum's history, such a representative composition opened the project. The ceremony was attended by ambassadors from the Russian Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Belarus, Ukraine, Japan, India, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, the Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom, and the Consul of Sweden.

As Cholpon Tentieva noted, the project will have a certain periodicity, and the next theme is already being developed. "Moreover, proposals are coming in from the embassies," concluded the art historian.

The exhibition will continue until December 25.
