Memorial House Museum named after Aaly Tokombaev

House Museum named after A. Tokombaev
Tokombaev is a well-known Kyrgyz akyn, poet, and composer. His house has been transformed into a museum dedicated to his life and work. He contributed to the standardization of the Kyrgyz language in modified Cyrillic. The museum hosted an exhibition in memory of the mass migration of Kyrgyz people to China in 1916, following the uprising against the tsarist regime.

It is located in a two-story house surrounded by trees, on the street of the same name. The museum features 3 exhibition halls and 3 memorial halls. All rooms are preserved, and the exhibits – antique items, typewriters, radios, a cane, and a desk lamp from that distant era – are breathtaking.
Literary meetings with writers and poets are held at the museum. There are also performances based on the works of A. Tokombaev.
