Where is the Toktogul Literary Museum located?
The Toktogul Literary Museum is located in the city of Bishkek.
Toktogul Satylganov was a great Kyrgyz improvisational poet, virtuoso komuz player, and outstanding composer who lived in the last century. The museum showcases materials about the life and work of this esteemed figure of Kyrgyzstan, and it also houses his works. The museum was established on October 5, 1989, to commemorate the 125th anniversary of Toktogul Satylganov.
The museum has three halls:
- Hall of Turkic writing
- Hall of oral creativity
- Hall about the life and activities of the democratic poet Toktogul Satylganov
There are about 5000 exhibits in the museum (manuscripts and books)
The museum contains manuscripts of great Kyrgyz writers:
- Ukayeva K. - critic
- Mambetakunova K.M. - prose writer, playwright
- Bektenova K. - playwright, artist, prose writer, satirist (works about Kuruchek)
- Jundubaeva N. - poet-writer, journalist
- Isakova I. - poet-writer
- Lulov Sh. - writer, poet
- Bedetbekova A. - researcher of the epic "Manas", philosopher, writer, journalist

The aforementioned museum has 10 branches across Kyrgyzstan, and the most unique and original exhibits have been transferred to memorial museums:
- For example, in the Jumgal district - Togolok Moldo House-Museum
- In the Issyk-Kul district - Kasym Tynystanov and others
The museum is a state institution.
