The annual photo exhibition "Drying" was held the day before at the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev. This exhibition has become the third of its kind and gathered a large number of photography enthusiasts who had the opportunity to present their works and exchange photos with other participants. Not everyone has the chance to organize a personal photo exhibition, and such a project allows one to showcase their best shots and appreciate the creative ideas of colleagues. The unusual event was organized by ADAMASORIS in collaboration with the KNMII museum named after Gapar Aitiev.

"Drying" is a completely free photo exhibition and simultaneously a photo exchange. You come with your printed author photos, attach them using ordinary clothespins, and "dry" them like in the good old days. Hence the name. In exchange for your works, you can take any others. Thus, you can find friends with similar interests, learn the opinions of professional photographers and amateurs, and take any photo you like, with the condition that you leave your work in return," noted the organizers of the exhibition.

This exhibition has become international, as guests from other republics participated.

- I live in Kazakhstan, and as soon as I heard that such a project would take place in Kyrgyzstan, I immediately decided to participate. Similar events are also held in our country. Today I decided to share some details and portraits. I am a beginner photographer and reproduce everything that comes to my mind. It’s very interesting to see the works of other participants because every time I see something new and can learn something - said participant from Kazakhstan Anastasia Li.

Each participant could bring an unlimited number of photographs to the exhibition; the main thing was to find free space on the ropes and the corresponding number of clothespins. Guests of the event were able to see the works of beginner photographers and photos from those whose names are widely known in our republic and beyond. During the four hours of the exhibition, hundreds of Bishkek residents visited, and some photographers happily gifted their photos to admiring guests.

- I participate in this exhibition to present my photos and, of course, myself as an author, and maybe even to show off. It’s an opportunity to meet friends and communicate with colleagues. Almost everyone here is familiar; the works printed in large format are quite interesting. This is a unique opportunity for newcomers to showcase their photos and look at the works of well-known authors; maybe they will understand what to strive for. My works are quite dark, while others have gorgeous landscapes and portraits; in a word, everyone has their own style, - noted Vlad Dombrovsky.

And the most interesting detail is that on the back of each photo, their authors wrote messages to their future owners and left their contact information so that anyone interested could reach out to them and ask any questions they might have.
