On March 13, a presentation of a photo exhibition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory took place at the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in Chuy region, as reported by the press service of the office.
The aim of the photo exhibition is to showcase the fading heroic era and capture its image in the memory of the younger generation, as well as to demonstrate the patriotism and love for the Motherland characteristic of the difficult wartime.
This year we celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory, and this anniversary date is given special attention not only in Kyrgyzstan but also around the world.
“As is known, there are only 174 veterans of the Great Patriotic War left in the republic, and their number decreases every year; we must be eternally grateful to them. This photo exhibition is primarily a tribute to our heroes, and the younger generation must know and not forget about the patriots who brought victory and peace at the cost of their lives,” noted the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in Chuy region, K. Isayev.
In addition, all participants of the event laid flowers at the photo stands of the heroes of the Great Victory.
Similar photo exhibitions will be organized throughout all districts of the region.
