In anticipation of the new school year, from August 21 to August 30, 2014, the annual fair of light industry goods produced in the country, "Made in KG", will take place in Bishkek at the "Alkan Bazaars" market (74 Kozhevennaya St., "Dordoy" shopping center). The purpose of the event is to establish international trade relations, promote the "Made in KG" brand, and develop the light industry of Kyrgyzstan. It is worth noting that the "Alkan Bazaars" market took first place in the "Business Chooses the Best" competition among all wholesale markets in Kyrgyzstan this year.
The organizers of the trade fair are the LLC "Alkan Bazaars" and the Association of Light Industry Enterprises of the Kyrgyz Republic "Legprom".
The target audience for this event includes all residents and guests of the capital. This fair will be especially beneficial for schoolchildren, their parents, and students, who will be able to fully prepare for the start of the school year. The range of goods presented will be more than wide: clothing for everyone, knitwear, school uniforms, shoes, and stationery.
As noted by the General Director of LLC "Alkan Bazaars," B. Arpachieva: "The main goal of the fair is to prepare students for school and dress them beautifully and affordably, without straining the family budget, as well as to strengthen the connection between our domestic producers and consumers and to present our country and the brand 'Made in KG' to foreign partners in a worthy manner.
Thus, the "Made in KG" event will also be significant for entrepreneurs. Domestic and foreign businessmen will be able to establish new trade relations and expand opportunities for their businesses. For this category of participants, all necessary infrastructure will be provided: more than eighty exhibition pavilions will be located in a specially equipped area, along with seven comfortable hotels, a paved parking lot for 300 cars, cafes, and banks.
The organizers deliberately chose the "Alkan Bazaars" market (Dordoy shopping center) as the venue for the fair. After all, almost all domestic sewing companies conduct their trade activities here.
The grand opening of the fair will take place on August 21 at 10:00 in the presence of high-ranking guests and will be accompanied by a rich entertainment program and fashion shows featuring collections from Kyrgyz designers.
