The Kyrgyz woman became the most beautiful at the "Mrs. Universe" contest

Kyrgyzstan's Tansulu Omurzakova, a participant in the international contest "Mrs. Universe," received the title of "Mrs. Beauty" in Minsk.

More than 60 representatives from around the world participated in the international contest "Mrs. Universe." The grand prize and crown went to the charming Canadian Ashley Burnham. This is Canada's first victory in this contest, which the representative of the country is very proud of. Over seven days, the women showcased their talents at various events, participated in a national costume parade, and attended a roundtable discussion on combating domestic violence.

The contest took place in Minsk from August 24 to 30. More than 50 successful, socially active, title-holding beauties from Bulgaria, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Venezuela, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Russia, Ukraine, and other countries came to participate.

During the week, the participants visited many corners of Belarus: they were shown how BelAZ career dump trucks are assembled, and the special forces soldiers demonstrated their combat skills to the guests.

"The Kyrgyz woman won the title of 'Mrs. Beauty,' the representative of Bulgaria, Yana Yugova, became 'Mrs. Top Model,' and the Belarusian beauty received the title of 'Mrs. Social Activity,'" the message stated.

"Mrs. Universe" is a contest for married, successful, socially active, and the most beautiful women, held since 2007. The organizer is the Bulgarian company "Mrs. Universe." In 2007, the winner was Eleonora Mancheva from Bulgaria. In 2014, the contest took place in the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, where the title of "Mrs. Universe" went to the American beauty Sabrina Pinon.

This is the first time the contest is being held in Minsk. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it is not just a beauty pageant for married women, but also a social project: each year, participants highlight an important issue and ways to address it in their homeland.
