Beauty Contest Among Grandmothers

A beauty contest among grandmothers took place in Bishkek

The capital hosted the national beauty contest "Grandmother of the Year," reported the organizer of the beauty competition, Ryskul Namazbekova.

The event took place the day before at one of the establishments in Bishkek.

Sixteen participants from different regions of the country competed for the title and the main prize. According to the organizer, the youngest was 44 years old, and the oldest was 70.

"The finalists were divided into two categories. The first group consisted of participants aged 44 to 55, and the second group included those aged 56 to 70," Namazbekova said.

The jury recognized Gulmira Dzhaliyeva, 52, as the winner in the first category.

In the second group, the title of Grandmother of the Year went to 64-year-old Rakiya Tabaldieva.

Additionally, based on the results of all performances, the jury selected the first runners-up in both categories.

All prize winners received vouchers to Turkey.
