The GPS noted that the rumors spread by lawyer Asel Argymbaeva about the critical health condition of the founder of the construction company KG Group are untrue.
According to data provided by the GPS, during the hunger strike, Tashov's health was regularly monitored by medical staff. During examinations, blood pressure, body temperature, and weight were recorded. At the time of his admission to the pre-trial detention center-1, his weight was 88 kilograms, and by October 22, it had dropped to 81 kilograms. His blood pressure was at 120/70, and his temperature was 36.5 degrees. Overall, the condition of the detainee was assessed as satisfactory.
The service also emphasized that no complaints about fainting or deterioration of condition had been received, and monitoring of Imamidin Tashov is being conducted in accordance with established norms.
The GPS urged lawyers and journalists to refrain from spreading unverified information that could mislead the public.
Imamidin Tashov announced a hunger strike at the end of September, expressing dissatisfaction with the pressure from the administration of pre-trial detention center-1, which was denied by the GPS.
Recall that the founder of the construction company KG Group was detained in April 2024 on charges of planning a coup. Earlier, he posted a video message on social media, stating that he was "kidnapped in a gangster manner," held captive, and demanded not only the already mentioned 52 million soms but also an additional 100 million "in the back pocket."
In July 2025, the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek found the entrepreneur guilty and sentenced him to nine years in prison.
