On the obverse side of the "Argali" coin, against the backdrop of an incredibly beautiful, hard-to-reach peak, is depicted the Tian Shan argali - a symbol of courage and nobility of our ancestors. At the top of the coins is the inscription "Теңир - Тоо" (Sacred Mountains), on the left is the inscription "Архар" (Ovis Ammon Karelini), and at the bottom is the denomination of the coin "10 som." On the right side is a mark indicating the weight of the coin and the purity of silver (Ag 925/28.28).

On the obverse side of the "Edelweiss" coin, against the backdrop of a beautiful mountain pyramid covered with snow and ice, is an image of the edelweiss flower - a symbol of the mountains. At the top of the coin is the inscription "ТЕҢИР-ТОО" (Sacred Mountains), on the left is the inscription "АКМАҢДАЙ. LEONTOPODIUM," and at the bottom is the denomination of the coin "10 som." On the right side is a mark indicating the weight of the coin and the purity of silver (Ag 925/28.28).

On the reverse side of the "Argali" and "Edelweiss" coins is the coat of arms of the Kyrgyz Republic and the year of minting (2002), as well as a circular inscription - "ЭЛ АРАЛЫК ТОО ЖЫЛЫ" (International Year of Mountains).
Each coin is placed in a separate box, and each coin comes with a certificate and a booklet with a brief description of the coin.
