
On September 16, the exhibition of artist-jeweler and creator of objects for residential and public interiors Viktor A. Syrnev titled "Bishkek – I am your craftsman" opened at the G. Aitiev National Museum of Fine Arts in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the artist himself, the exhibition features his works from the last 2-3 years.
“Mainly, there are objects here, some of which have been prepared for a long time. After all, there is always first contemplation, and then the process. The creative process itself can last for years and never stop,” said V.A. Syrnev.
He emphasized that all his works are created from feelings.
It is worth noting that his work created in 1986—a chandelier for the Marriage Palace in Bishkek—received the highest award at the international design competition A' Design Award & Competition in Milan, Italy, in April 2014. The platinum prize in the category of "Evergreen Design." The work on this project took the artist 4.5 years—from April 1986 to November 1990.
At the same competition, gold awards in the category of "Jewelry Art" were awarded to the brooch "Anastasia — Golden Ray" and the ring "Empress," the latter dedicated to Empress Alexandra Feodorovna and is part of the project "Emperor Nicholas Romanov — Russia, Ural, Destiny."
