Tajik companies, which arrived in Kyrgyzstan for the first time to participate in the 10th international exhibition-fair of food products and agricultural products "AgroProdExpo 2014," noted its productivity. This was stated by the representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan, Mukammol Radzhavi, during a meeting with the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to her, during the participation in the "AgroProdExpo 2014" exhibition, negotiations were held between Tajik and Kyrgyz agribusinessmen, and contracts for product supplies worth approximately 1.5 million US dollars were signed.
For their part, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic welcomed the participation of Tajik enterprises in the large-scale exhibition of agricultural products and urged them to participate more actively in all international exhibitions held in Kyrgyzstan, which serve as a platform for establishing new business contacts. The representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic noted that the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan have maintained good friendly relations for many years, which are rapidly developing each year.
The parties noted that mutual participation of producers and enterprises in exhibitions held in the two friendly countries will serve as a good support for expanding the market and establishing promising business ties.
