The Tourism Department is finishing work on an image video about Kyrgyzstan. This was announced at a press conference during the XVI International Tourism Fair "Issyk-Kul-2014" by the head of the department, Maksat Chakiyev.
According to him, the material is intended to showcase the strengths of Kyrgyzstan to help form its positive image. "Currently, most of the information about Kyrgyzstan is negative and related to the socio-political situation in the country," Chakiyev said.
The content of the video has not yet been disclosed. However, according to Chakiyev, the video material will be presented to the general public at the end of May - beginning of June. "This material can be used as information by anyone interested. Copies of the video will be sent to all embassies and consulates, as well as provided to representatives of the tourism business. In addition, it will be made freely available on the Internet," the head of the department explained.
