Kyrgyzstanis will be able to apply for British visas online.
Kyrgyz citizens will be able to apply for British visas online on the website of the British Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic (www.gov.uk), announced the regional representative of the UK Visa and Immigration Agency, Chris White, a representative of the General Consulate in Istanbul, during a meeting with journalists on Thursday.
Today, the British Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Judith Farnworth, officially announced the opening of a mobile biometric clinic in Bishkek, located in the Hyatt hotel.
“Those wishing to obtain a visa to the UK will be able to submit their application and make payment online. After that, an appointment will be scheduled for the applicant, who will arrive at this office at the appointed time, present the necessary documents, and provide fingerprints. The documents will then be sent to the office in Istanbul, where a very large team will process the documents and make a decision, after which the documents will be returned to Bishkek, and they may also be sent to the applicant's home address,” said Chris White.
He noted that the entire process will take 15 days, and the visa processing fee will be £59. Additionally, White added that in the future, data processing directly in Bishkek may be possible, depending on the number of applications for British visas.
The commercial partner in this project is the company “Teleperformance,” which will be responsible for the technical side of the process. A representative of the company, Arno Grico, stated that the company has 106 similar centers in 101 countries.
