Starting from January 15, 2015, citizens of Kyrgyzstan and foreign nationals with a residence permit in the Kyrgyz Republic can apply for a Schengen visa at the Swiss Embassy in Bishkek for travel to the Czech Republic.
The Swiss Embassy in Bishkek can only accept applications for short-term visas of up to 90 days. Applications for national visas must be submitted to the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Kazakhstan.
All applicants must submit their applications in person at the Swiss Embassy, as biometric data from each applicant is required. The Schengen Visa Information System simplifies visa procedures, facilitates checks at external border points of the Schengen area, and ensures the security of visa holders.
Currently, the Swiss Embassy in Bishkek issues visas for Switzerland, Poland, Slovenia, Estonia, and Latvia.
To travel to the above-mentioned countries, it is necessary to submit an application in person at the Swiss Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic at the following address: Bishkek, Erkindik Boulevard 21, 11th floor.
