The company "MegaCom - JSC Alfa Telecom" is the general partner of the Opening of the cycling season-2015! And already this coming Sunday, March 22, 2015, at 10:00, the Federation of Mountain Biking "R-Bikers" and the Association "BOOM Studio" invite all cycling enthusiasts to the monument to the Fighters of the Revolution (Chuy Ave / Soviet St) for a cycling march in honor of the opening of the cycling season-2015!
As the general partner of the Kyrgyzstan national team at the 2016 Olympics, "MegaCom" supports sports and invites all lovers of active recreation to the Opening of the cycling season-2015. As part of this annual event, a mass bike ride through the city and a picnic in the mountain range behind the village of Orto-Sai will traditionally be organized.
Anyone interested can participate in this event – age and riding level do not matter. All that is needed is a working bicycle. The organizers note that the opening of the cycling season in Bishkek has been held for ten years already, and in recent years, the number of participants in the cycling march has been increasing. If last year there were more than 200 participants, this year up to 350 cycling enthusiasts are expected. The MegaCom team, led by the company's General Director Azat Bazarkulov, will also ride in a friendly cycling column along the designated route.
"I would like to emphasize that such principles of the Olympic movement as striving for excellence in sports and life, friendship, respect for opponents, adherence to rules, and fair competition are all close and resonate with the core values and principles of MegaCom's work. Any sport strengthens the spirit, unites, encourages the pursuit of better, and motivates for victory. And cycling is also a great way to spend quality time with loved ones and friends," notes Azat Bazarkulov, General Director of "MegaCom".
At the start of the cycling march, all participants will receive t-shirts from the general partner of the event, "MegaCom". Then, the now traditional cycling march will take place along the route: Chuy Ave - Manas Ave - Bokonbaeva St - Soviet St. The column will be accompanied by experienced marshals from among the participants of the "R-Bikers" Federation. The finish of the cycling march will be at the Southern Gates, where a small competition program will be organized and the official part will conclude.
Those wishing to continue the celebration of the opening of the cycling season can head to the village of Orto-Sai, where the final picnic, fan rides, and a competition and entertainment program from the Association "BOOM Studio" will take place. Of course, everyone will also receive gifts for participating in the contests from the general partner of the event, the mobile operator "MegaCom".
Any working bicycle is suitable for participation. Each participant must:
- wear a helmet during the cycling march (mandatory!);
- obey traffic rules while riding (important!);
- follow the marshals' instructions while moving through the city roads (important!).
