The XIII International Festival "Language and Culture" for Students Took Place in Bishkek

On March 19, the XIII International Festival among students 'Language and Culture' was held at the Koyomkul Sports Palace.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism, six yurts were erected on the territory of the Sports Palace.

Guests of the event were introduced to the national cuisine of the Kyrgyz, as well as to national clothing and traditions. Presentations were organized to showcase the characteristics of each nation.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Vice-Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Torobai Zulpkarov, and the Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism Altynbek Maksutov.

The festival was organized by representatives of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Lyceum 'Sebat', the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, the State Language Commission under the President of Kyrgyzstan, and the city mayor's office.
