On October 18, an ecological event titled "Green Heritage" took place at the Botanical Garden in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, organized by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Republican Children's and Youth Center for Ecology, Local History, and Tourism.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Education, this event became part of the implementation of the presidential decree "National Spirit — Global Heights".

The event was attended by Minister Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, who noted that within the framework of the "Green Heritage" initiative, nurseries for plants have been established in schools across the country.

"We are in a mountainous region, so it is important for every child not only to know about the beneficial properties of plants but also to be able to plant and care for them. When we talk about heritage, we mean that we must leave a green Kyrgyzstan for future generations," the minister emphasized.

During the event, more than 300 seedlings were planted in the Botanical Garden, and composters were also handed over to teachers.

About 100 people participated in the event, including representatives from the Ministry of Education, staff from the Republican Center, as well as club leaders and students.

As reported by the Ministry of Education, the main goal of the event is to green the environment, foster ecological culture, and instill a sense of responsibility for nature among the youth.
