The aim of this film forum is to support young directors and provide them with a platform to showcase their work to an international audience.
The department informs that applications for participation are accepted until February 27, 2026, in several categories: international competition, Central Asian competition (for films from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan), and KyrgyzBox (highlighting commercially successful Kyrgyz feature films).
The winners of the festival can expect the following awards:
- the grand prize for "Best Film" of 500,000 soms;
- the award for "Best Director" of 400,000 soms;
- the reward for "Best Actress/Actor" of 300,000 soms;
- a special jury prize for filmmakers, screenwriters, composers, or production designers.
