Bishkek, the semi-final of the "Beauty of Kyrgyzstan – 2015" contest took place at the Koyomkul Sports Palace.
Seventy-five girls from all regions of the republic, including Bishkek, participated in the semi-final. The first contest was traditionally the "Greeting," where the girls appeared in identical dresses to introduce themselves to the audience. This was followed by a free-style catwalk on the theme: "City Style," where each participant had to present her interpretation of the city's style.
After that, there was a group competition where all 75 girls performed a rhythmic dance, concluding with a walk in evening gowns.
According to the contest organizer, Amina Yusurova, all the girls were very nervous before going on stage. "We prepared for this day for a long time, all the girls are anxious, but I think we did well. We still have serious work ahead. I am confident that the final of the contest on April 4 will be simply grand," she said.
As a result of the contest, 60 girls advanced to the final, which will take place in April 2015.
