The "Moto Lady" contest was first organized in 2014 by the social portal "Afisha VB" and the motorcycle house "Perts." The interest from female motorcycle enthusiasts was enormous. The participants' task was to take a photo next to their iron horse and gather more votes online. The main criterion for evaluation was the presence of a professional and interesting photograph with thematic attributes in the frame: biker t-shirts, leather items, chains. For those who did not have their own bike, assistance could be sought from the administrators of the motorcycle house "Perts." The grand prize was a new sports motorcycle.
“The event gained popularity abroad as well: Uzbekistan and Tajikistan plan to hold a similar contest in their countries. This time, the contest will be more extensive and is planned to be held in three stages,” said Askhat Seitbekov, head of the motorcycle community of the Kyrgyz Republic, at a press conference.
The first stage will be dedicated to the theoretical part, where the girls will be taught the basic rules of the road and safety techniques for motorcycle management. The motorcycle community of Kyrgyzstan, "Bikers KG," and the group "Unity of Motorcyclists" will provide vehicles and ensure the quality of training and safety for the participants.
In the second stage, the girls are required to "accumulate" a certain number of hours. After that, the participants will compete in driving professionalism. Competitions in practical skills are necessary to prevent future accident situations.
The final stage is a photo contest. The contestants will be evaluated based on the same criteria as last time. A mandatory condition is the presence of a motorcycle in the frame. Irina Fedorenko from the "Icon of Style" workshop will provide professional makeup for the girls, and the modeling agency "AJ Models" will teach them the basics of posing.
There are five nominations:
1. "Moto Lady 2015" will receive the coveted prize – a motorcycle.
2. "Miss Real Biker," evaluated will be the girls who already ride motorcycles.
3. "Miss Literacy" will receive her title based on the points accumulated over the two stages.
4. "Cover Face" – the winner of the photo contest who gathers the most votes.
5. "Miss Biker's Sympathy" will be chosen by the bikers themselves.
The awards ceremony will traditionally take place at the favorite spot of bikers in the motorcycle house "Perts."
