

This competition was organized in accordance with presidential decrees aimed at the comprehensive study and promotion of the trilogy of the epic, which includes 'Manas', 'Semetei', and 'Seitek'. The main goal of the event was to identify the creative potential of contemporary manaschy and to preserve the tradition of live performance, which is an important part of the country's cultural heritage.
Participants in the competition were manaschy who provided their own authorial versions of the epic, comprising at least 15,000 lines, and were able to perform them live for no less than ten hours.
Among the participants are well-known performers such as Rysbay Isakov, Zamirbek Bayaliyev, Kulmat Sydykov, and Asanaly Kalil uulu.
The total prize fund of the competition amounted to 7 million soms, and the names of the winners will be announced on November 2, the day of cultural workers in Kyrgyzstan. On the same day, a solemn award ceremony for the laureates will take place.
