
The Republican Center for Health Promotion under the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic awarded letters of appreciation and prizes to students of the Faculty of Communications at the Kyrgyz-Turkish University "Manas," participants in the video contest on the topic of a healthy lifestyle. A total of 19 videos were submitted for the contest, mainly focusing on the harms of smoking, drug use, voluntary blood donation, tuberculosis prevention, the necessity of family planning, and more. The jury members, consisting of medical professionals and journalists, noted the students' strong desire to assist public health efforts in preserving citizens' health, as well as their original approach to addressing various health topics.
According to the press secretary of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Anarbek Alimakhunov, cooperation with the students of the Kyrgyz-Turkish University "Manas" will continue under the Memorandum signed two years ago between the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and the university, aimed at collaborative efforts to promote a healthy lifestyle in Kyrgyzstan.
