March 10 Essay Contest '100 New Ideas for the Development of Kyrgyzstan'


The essay contest "100 New Ideas for the Development of Kyrgyzstan" is organized by the State Service for Intellectual Property and Innovations under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the State Fund for Intellectual Property.

Goals and Objectives of the Contest:
1) To enhance the intellectual and innovative potential of the Kyrgyz Republic;
2) To identify new approaches to solving state tasks;
3) To stimulate personal and professional growth of participants;
4) To provide an opportunity for expressing ideas on the socio-economic development of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Participants of the Contest
1. Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic under the age of 35 are invited to participate in the contest.

Procedure and Conditions for Conducting the Contest
2. The contest runs from December 24 to March 10, 2015. The results will be announced from March 16 to March 25, 2015. Submissions for the contest within AGUPKR are accepted via email marked "Innovation Projects Contest 'Idea Fair'": [email protected], contact phone: 0312 66 53 47 or at the Department of Science of AGUPKR, Building 2, Room 204b. Contest materials submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

3. To participate in the contest, participants must submit:
• a participant questionnaire (Appendix No. 1);
• an essay on one of the proposed topics or on a free topic at the author's discretion (Appendix No. 2);
4. The essay must correspond to the stated topic. The author's full name and the title of the essay should be placed before the text. The essay should not exceed 3 pages in Microsoft Office 2007 format, using Times New Roman font, size 12, with 1.5 line spacing. The essay should be submitted electronically in Russian and Kyrgyz languages, with the participant's surname and initials and the words "Essay Contest" in the file name.

Evaluation Criteria
• Conceptual integrity, logic, and argumentation;
• Novelty, independence of ideas and approaches;
• Breadth of coverage, general erudition;
• Artistic expressiveness of the text;
• Practical significance.

Appendix No. 1 Participant Questionnaire

1. Title of the contest work.
2. Full name of the participant.
3. Gender.
4. Age.
5. Contact phone number.
6. Email address.
7. Education (name of educational institution, specialty), graduation date.
8. Place of work, position.
9. Awards and recognitions.
10. Additional information about yourself that you consider necessary to provide.
