From December 1 to 6 of this year, a meeting of the Board of Directors took place in Finland, in the city of Espoo, between the State Agency for Geology and Mineral Resources under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) regarding the project “Strengthening the Development of Natural Resources for National Welfare in the Kyrgyz Republic.”
At the meeting of the Board, which was attended by Deputy Director Ulanbek Ryskulov and Chief Specialist of the Information Resources Department Zinaida Shabolotova on behalf of the State Geological Agency, issues regarding the further implementation of the project “Strengthening the Development of Natural Resources for National Welfare in the Kyrgyz Republic” were discussed.
As a result of the event, an agreement was reached that during the implementation of this project, equipment worth approximately 208,500 euros will be supplied to the geological organizations of the State Geological Agency.
It should be noted that the project “Strengthening the Development of Natural Resources for National Welfare in the Kyrgyz Republic” is planned for 3 years, with more than 1.5 million euros expected to be allocated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland for its implementation.
