As part of the implementation of the tasks defined by the Education Development Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2012-2020, aimed at encouraging creatively working teachers, teaching staff of general education schools, and preschool educational organizations that have made a significant contribution to the development of education and upbringing of the younger generation, as well as spreading advanced pedagogical experience, the traditional republican competition
“Teacher of the Year” is held annually in 3 nominations:
• “Best Teacher of the Year – 2014”,
• “Best School - 2014”,
• “Best Kindergarten - 2014”.
The competition “Best School - 2014” is held in 2 nominations:
• “Best Innovative School - 2014”,
• “Best Rural School - 2014”.
The competition will take place on October 7-8, 2014, at the National Computer Gymnasium.
The in-person round will feature the winners of the city and regional competitions in the above-mentioned nominations.
Winners will receive honorary certificates and substantial cash prizes. The total prize fund amounts to 837,000 soms.
The festive opening of the republican competition “Teacher of the Year – 2014” will take place on October 7, 2014, at 09:00 at the National Computer Gymnasium.
The results will be summarized and the award ceremony will be held on October 9 at the National Philharmonic named after T. Satylganov.
