The Cultural and Historical Community Fund "Eurasians – New Wave" has started accepting submissions for the annual media competition "Honesty. Courage. Professionalism. 2014." The award given as a result of this competition is dedicated to the memory of the famous journalist of Kyrgyzstan, Gennady Pavlyuk, who was killed in an assassination attempt in 2009.
As reminded by the president of the "Eurasians – New Wave" fund, Yuri Anufriev, this annual award was established in 2011 to encourage the professional growth of journalists in the republic working in the fields of television, radio journalism, and print media. It aims to stimulate the interest of media employees in strengthening and developing economic, socio-political, scientific-educational, and historical-cultural ties between the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic.
"This award will be presented for the fourth time. The ceremony, as in previous years, will take place at the end of the outgoing year or the beginning of the new one. The establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union adds new dynamics to the entire Eurasian integration, and under these conditions, this competition is becoming increasingly relevant," says Anufriev.
