Since August 26, 2013, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has issued silver and copper-nickel coins "Saimaluu-Tash" with a denomination of 10 som and 1 som in honor of the Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The main design of the silver coin "Saimaluu-Tash" features rock drawings depicting a solar man, a mountain goat, and a bull carrying a solar disk. A distinctive feature of this coin is the colored execution of the drawings, which most realistically conveys the images on the surface of the stone boulder of deep black color. On the obverse side of the coin, the name of the coin - "Саймалуу-Таш/Saimaluu-Tash," the denomination of the coin (10 som), the metal's fineness and weight (Ag 925 / 28.28 g) are indicated.

On the reverse side, rock drawings are presented, which stand out very effectively against the matte field of the coin, the series title "Кыргызстандын тарыхый жана архитектуралык эстеликтери," the state emblem of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the year of issue (2013).

The design of the copper-nickel coin "Saimaluu-Tash" matches the design of the silver coin of the same name. The coin has a denomination of 1 som and is placed in an acrylic capsule.
