
Since December 18, 2008, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has put into circulation a collectible silver coin "Bishkek" of the series "Capitals of the Eurasian Economic Union" with a face value of 10 som.
The commemorative collectible coin "Bishkek" from the series "Capitals of the Eurasian Economic Union" was issued as part of the International program for the issuance and sale of collectible coins made of precious metals from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. The main unifying element of the entire series of collectible coins issued by the central (national) banks of the Eurasian Economic Union countries is the emblem of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The main theme of the obverse side of the coin features architectural buildings of the city against the backdrop of mountains. In the foreground, there is a sculptural representation of the equestrian statue of Manas and the emblem of the Eurasian Economic Union made with colored enamel. The foreground of the reverse side of the coin presents the coat of arms of the Kyrgyz Republic on a relief background of the globe, which is part of the emblem of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Each coin is placed in an acrylic capsule in a separate box, which includes a certificate and a booklet with a brief description of the coin.
