The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has issued a commemorative coin of the EAEU.
The EAEU coin, issued by the NBKR, was put into circulation on November 2. As reported by IA specialists of the National Bank, collector coins on the same theme will be released in all EAEU member countries by December 1.
– This coin was issued by the NBKR in connection with the anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's accession to the EAEU. Notably, coins on the same theme will be released in all countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. All five coins will bear the same name, and each will feature a unified official emblem of the EAEU, – said Shamil Aydarkulov, head of the cash management department of the NBKR.
On the front side of the coin, the coat of arms of the Kyrgyz Republic is depicted against a relief background of the globe, which serves as a unifying element of the coin's design. At the top of the coin, there is an inscription "Кыргыз Республикасынын Улуттук банкы" (National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic), and the year of issue (2015) is also indicated. At the bottom, the denomination of the coin (10 som) is shown. On the left side of the coin, the metal's fineness (Ag 925) is indicated, and on the right side, the weight of the coin (31.10 g) is displayed.
The main theme of the reverse side of the coin is the integration of Eurasian states: the official emblem of the EAEU against the backdrop of the Eurasian continent, placed within the globe, along with colored images of the flags of the five EAEU member states. At the top of the coin, there is an inscription "Евразийский экономический союз" (Eurasian Economic Union), and at the bottom, the inscription "Евразия экономикалык союзу" (Eurasia Economic Union).
The circulation of the medals is 1,000 copies. They are made of 925 silver. The official price set by the NBKR is 3,300 soms.
– A whole set of expressive means was used in the creation of the EAEU coin: the relief of the image and the colored representations of the flags of the five EAEU member states. The NBKR coin is produced using colored pad printing, - noted Medina Ashyralieva, head of the expert department of the cash management department.
