The coin “Great Kyrgyz Kaganate” is the first coin in the series “Era of the Kyrgyz Kaganate.” The main element on the obverse side of the coin is a gold Tamga - the symbol of the Kyrgyz people, which was mentioned in a Chinese chronicle of the 7th century. In the background, there is a stylized map of the original territory of the Kyrgyz, where they lived before the period of Great Power, and the four galloping horsemen represent the expansion of the state’s borders. At the top of the coin, there is an inscription made in Orkhon-Yenisei runic script, which translates to “Kyrgyz State.” At the bottom of the coin, the metal's fineness and weight are indicated (Ag 925/28.28 g), along with the denomination of the coin (10 som).
The main element on the reverse side of the coin is the state coat of arms, placed in the center of a stylized eagle image. At the top of the coin, the name of the coin “Uluu Kyrgyz Kaganaty” is written in the Kyrgyz language, surrounded by a national ornament, and at the bottom, the year of issue of the coin (2013) is indicated.
