That evening, on stage, we saw the famous Russian actor Denis Rozhkov, who became incredibly popular after the release of the series "Glukhary" and his role as Denis Antoshin. In the play "Marriage," he played the role of the nobleman Ivan Kuzmich Podkolyosin.

The Moscow Independent Theater was established not long ago, but the public has already come to know and love it. It is quite a successful project, and audiences always eagerly await each new premiere. The theater's creator, Dmitry Rachkovsky, believes that the main reason for the theater's popularity is that its troupe does not seek awards, does not aim to win festivals, and does not pay attention to what theater critics think of their productions. The actors work for the audience and receive appropriate feedback from them. Kyrgyzstan's theater art lovers were also able to see that the artists work with full dedication.

The theater employs more than forty artists, five of whom hold the title of Honored Artist and three are People's Artists. The Moscow Independent Theater included the play "Grooms" in its repertoire quite recently - in January 2014. The director is the People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Steklov. "Marriage" is one of Gogol's most famous comedic plays. The simple plot revolves around four somewhat battered by life suitors who court the merchant's daughter Agafya Tikhonovna. The main character of the play is the merchant's daughter Agafya Tikhonovna, for whom matchmaker Fekla Ivanovna is looking for a groom. Agafya Tikhonovna spends all her days at home, bored and dreaming of her chosen one. And then, with the help of the matchmaker, suitors come to the bride: the councilor Podkolyosin, executor Yaiichnitsa, retired infantry officer Anuchkin, and seasoned sailor Zhevakin... The choice for the young girl turns out to be very difficult. The charm of the play lies in its plot and magnificent dialogues. The audience is undoubtedly familiar with the content of the work, but the ending was still a surprise for many.

In his work, Nikolai Vasilyevich managed to laugh at everything, from the bad institution of matchmaking among the nobility to cowardice, excessive determination, and self-confidence. And that is why the play has remained popular for so many years. The actors themselves agreed with this.

- This play will always be relevant because it was written by Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol. The events unfold in the 1830s, and each character can be transferred to modernity. These are the same officials and former military men, of course, inexperienced brides. And most importantly, there are still indecisive men who might run away from the altar at the last moment, - said Maxim Dashevsky, who plays the role of Kochkarev.

It is worth noting that the role of the matchmaker Fekla was also excellently performed.

- Despite the fact that in the modern world, a lot of information about suitors can be found on the Internet, the work of matchmakers will always exist, and besides, each of us tries to introduce good people to each other. I really enjoy playing this role, - shared actress Tatyana Zhaley.

Famous actor Denis Rozhkov also shared his comments.

- I studied at a theater institute and played classical roles, and the fact that people saw me as a policeman in a series means nothing. I feel comfortable playing similar characters like Podkolyosin, as I was raised on classics.

- Tell me, if you had the same choice as the hero of the play, what would you do?

- I honestly admit, I would also run away…

After the performance, the audience thanked the actors for their brilliant performance and, of course, the representatives of the Center for Organizing and Conducting Events "ART Face" for such an amazing evening.
