In Karakol, the regional drama theater named after K. Djantoshev is closing its 31st theater season. This was reported by the press service of the government’s representative office in the Issyk-Kul region.
The government’s representative in the Issyk-Kul region, Emilbek Kaptagaev, attended the performance of Grigory Gorin's play "Forget Herostratus" on May 12.
The performance features 11 actors. The director is the honored artist of the Kyrgyz Republic, Orungul Kozhomkulova, with the role of Herostratus played by the people's artist Altynbek Shatenov, and the role of Clementina played by Zhyldyz Saitova.
The creative team will showcase plays by famous writers and playwrights every day until May 17. A gala concert will take place on May 17 in honor of the closing of the 31st theater season.
