For the first time in 40 years, from November 7 to 10, 2014, the Kazakh State Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after Abai will hold major performances in Bishkek.
Currently, the Kazakh State Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet is one of the largest theaters in the Eurasian space. The theater's creative team includes renowned masters of the stage and young talents who are laureates of various prestigious international competitions and have gained worldwide recognition. The masters of the Kazakh opera and ballet theater have received applause in France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Turkey, China, the USA, and other countries. And now, we are happy to present our art to the connoisseurs of high culture in Kyrgyzstan! November 7, 2014 – Rhythm rock ballet "Yunona and Avos," 18:00
November 8, 2014 – Ballet "Romeo and Juliet," 18:00
November 9, 2014 – Ballet "Swan Lake," 18:00
November 10, 2014 – Ballet "Romeo and Juliet" and a Grand Gala Concert of world ballet stars, 18:00.
In conclusion, on the stage of the theater named after A. Maldybaev, laureates of prestigious international competitions will present contemporary pieces by outstanding modern choreographers, as well as pas de deux from many famous ballets.
