On October 29, famous Russian artists will take the stage at the Toktogul Satylganov National Philharmonic, including Pelageya, Sergey Volchkov, Alexandra Vorobyova, Sofia Onopchenko, Vadim Eilenkrig, Nikolai Zemlyansky, and Anastasia Tyurina. The concert will be accompanied by the music of the "Fonograf-Sympho Jazz" orchestra, conducted by People's Artist of Russia Sergey Zhilin.
On the same day, a photo exhibition titled "On One Screen. Russia — Kyrgyzstan — Cinema" from the Museum of Cinema, dedicated to the collaborative work of the two countries in the field of cinematography, will open in the foyer of the philharmonic.
In the evening of October 29, the Russian Film Festival will begin at the "Manas" cinema. The program includes a screening of the film "August" and a meeting with director Nikita Vysotsky. In the following days, viewers can look forward to screenings of the films "Love of the Soviet Union," "Not on the List," "Doctor of Dinosaurs," "First on Olympus," and "Kraken."
From October 30 to November 2, the State Russian Drama Theater named after Chinghiz Aitmatov will host a tour by the theater "Workshop 12," led by Nikita Mikhalkov. Bishkek audiences will be able to see the performances "12" and "The Tale of Lost Time," based on the works of Yevgeny Schwartz.
This initiative is part of the "Big Tours" program and aims to strengthen cultural ties between Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
