Anastasyan Sergey Nerisovich (1902-1978), Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor (1955)
Born in the Mardakert district of the Azerbaijan SSR. Graduated from Kazan Veterinary Institute (1931), and completed postgraduate studies there (1935).
Worked as a staff member at the Kazan Veterinary Institute, head of the Department of Epizootiology and Parasitology at KSHI.
Specialist in the field of epizootiology. Awarded the Order of Lenin, medals of the USSR, and Honorary Certificates from the Supreme Council of the Kirghiz SSR. Honored Worker of Science of the Kirghiz SSR. Published over 90 scientific works.
Under his supervision, 4 candidate dissertations were defended.
