Mitrofanov Vasily Mitrofanovich (1919),

Doctor of Veterinary Sciences (1965), Professor (1966)

Russian. Graduated from KSHI (1938), and completed postgraduate studies there (1954).

Worked as an associate professor, professor, head of the department of pathological anatomy, and dean of the veterinary faculty at KSHI.

Specialist in the field of pulmonology and slow viral diseases of sheep. Awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, medals of the USSR, and a certificate of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR.

Honored veterinarian of the Kyrgyz SSR. Published more than 170 scientific works, including 5 monographs and 2 dictionaries-reference books on veterinary pathology.

Under his supervision, doctoral and candidate dissertations have been defended.
