Beyshenaliev Bolot


Film actor. Honored Artist of the Kyrgyz SSR (1974). Born on June 25, 1947, in the village of Tort-Kul, Kemin District, Kyrgyz SSR, in a working-class family. He studied at the Kalmak-Ashun Primary School, then at the Tarsuy Secondary School. In 1954, after completing ten years of education, he worked as a laborer on a state farm. From 1966 to 1957, he studied at the studio of the Kyrgyz Opera and Ballet Theater, singing in the choir.

In 1958, he enrolled in the Tashkent State Institute of Theatre and Arts named after A. N. Ostrovsky in the acting faculty and after graduating in 1963, he was accepted as an assistant director at the "Kyrgyzfilm" studio. His first role was the owner of a yurt in M. Ubukeev's film "White Mountains" (1964).

The young actor gained wide recognition for his role as Duyshen in A. Mikhalkov-Konchalovsky's film "The First Teacher" (1965).

From 1965 to 1977, B. Beyshenaliev appeared in more than 30 films from the studios "Mosfilm," named after A. P. Dovzhenko, "Belarusfilm," "Uzbekfilm," "Moddonafilm," "Kazakhfilm," "Tajikfilm," "Kyrgyzfilm," "Kyrgyztelefilm," "Bnrrandov" (Czechoslovakia), and "Mafilm" (Hungary). Among them, the most significant roles of the actor include: Kayum ("White, White Storks" by A. Khamraev), Mirsharipov ("Red Sands" by A. Akbarhodzhaev and A. Khamraev), Tahir Murzin ("Horizons" by A. Mashanov), Azizov ("Bow to the Fire" by G. Okeenp), Usubaliev ("Without Fear" by A. Khamraev), Kasym ("Mother's Field" by G. Bazarov), Bolot ("Ak-Meyor" by M. Ubukeev), Akayev ("Smile on the Stone" by U. Ibragimov), Erkin ("The Eye of the Needle" by G. Bazarov). All these characters of B. Beyshenaliev are strong-willed, spiritually strong people devoted to high ideals.

Since 1978, he has been living and working in Moscow.

Awards — Certificate of Honor (1959) and Honorary Certificate (1969) from the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR.

Member of the USSR Union of Cinematographers since 1966.
