
Alyshbaev Zhumagul Alyshbaevich (1922-1969), Doctor of Economic Sciences (1966), Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR (1954)
Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kerege-Tash, Ak-Suu District, Issyk-Kul Region. Graduated from Przhevalsk Pedagogical School (1939), postgraduate studies in Moscow at the Military Academy of the General Staff (1953).
Worked as a teacher, deputy director in a secondary school, secretary of the Talas Regional Committee of the Komsomol, secretary of the Central Committee of the Komsomol of Kyrgyzstan, director of the Republican Party School under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, vice-president of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, head of the sector at the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, and chief editor of the Kyrgyz Soviet Encyclopedia. Specialist in the field of economics and economic theory.
Awarded the Orders of the Red Star, the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, the Badge of Honor, and medals of the USSR. Published more than 200 scientific works.
