Worked as an associate professor at the Kyrgyz Agricultural Institute, Deputy Director of the Institute of Language and Literature of the Kyrgyz SSR Academy of Sciences, Director of the Institute of Language and Literature of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, Head of the Department at the Kyrgyz State University, Head of the Sector of General Turkology, Head of the Department of Turkology and Dungan Studies at the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR. Specialist in the field of the Kyrgyz language - history of the language, Turkology, comparative linguistics.
Awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, the Badge of Honor, and medals of the USSR. Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz SSR (1963). Published over 100 scientific works, including monographs.
