Gann Pyotr Alexeyevich (1916-1991)

German. Born in the city of Alupka (Crimea). Graduated from the Krasnoyarsk Forestry Technical Institute (1941). Worked as the director of the Uzgen Forestry Enterprise of the Kirghiz SSR, deputy director for science, and head of the forestry department at the Institute of Biology. Specialist in the field of forestry and silviculture.
Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic (1990). Published more than 70 scientific works, including 4 monographs.
1. Experience in mountain forest cultivation, introduction in the spruce forest zone of the Pre-Issyk-Kul region. Published by the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, Frunze, 1957.
