Graduated from Kirgospedinstitute (1945), Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (1950).
Worked as a teacher, director of a secondary school, director of a pedagogical college and pedagogical institute, deputy head of the department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, head of the regional education department, deputy minister, minister of National Education of the Kyrgyz SSR, director of the Przhevalsky Pedagogical Institute, head of the department, professor at Osh State University, and since 1995 - professor at the Tashkent University "Dastan".
Specialist in the history of Kyrgyz and Kyrgyzstan culture.
Awarded the Orders of the Red Banner of Labor, Badge of Honor, medals of the USSR, and Honorary Certificate of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. Honored Teacher of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Published more than 200 scientific works, including 11 monographs.
Under his supervision, 2 doctoral and 15 candidate dissertations have been defended.
